Okay for those that like to show of your internals have a look at this site in the US. I'll be talking to them shortly for another project I'm working on (not cars), and more than likly be ordering from them. So if you like the look of the connectors, let me know and I'll get a price. Only trade off is you need to let me know the size of pipes etc.

InductionLock

Big hose clamps are usually found on RV septic systems, don't use them on your cold air or forced induction intake system. Incredibly lightweight for their size, InductionLocks fit 2-1/2-inch to 4-inch diameter tubing and component necks. Your turbo, supercharger, intercooler or hi-flow air filter deserves nothing less.

I'm sure these are already available in the UK from a few UK suppliers and manufacturers, perhaps you want to compare prices?

Erik,

I'm actually going for far smaller uints, 1/2" pipework as far as the techs on another forum that uses these parts they were not available, perhaps similar parts. I have an email enquiry with them now for UK distro's, the inlet items above are a sideline to my main requirement.

Many many plans Dave :D

Although just blown most of them with a little OverClocking air project, water very soon though, found the pump of pumps, clips, tubes, just the tricky bits now.

Although if your after a good kit I guess you have seen this one, very very tempted if I was not going for a headache approach. The waterchill one is prefered, although the first one isa good toe dipper...the other its are just fab by the reviews. But maybe it's my esoteric side coming through, I go off looking for obscure solutions to hose clips :D

Also allows me to accumulate the project over 6 months, rather than it suddenly to appear. If you want any more info, feel free, would be good to learn of each other, I suspect there are 100's of options I have not even seen, the web is just to big.

I'm a bit puzzled by this obsession with fluid cooling (Hell's bells! ICL were water cooling the 1906 mainframe in the early '70s!)

Hasn't anyone developed a thermocouple or peltier element which will pump heat away from the chip fast enough?

Yeah just built my current system from parts bought via overclockers - found them to be very reliable -- prices fairly good too.

Currently got 6 fans in my case at the mo -- gets a bit noisey so looking to quiten things down a bit -- looks pretty tho - -case is a very similar shade to dynamic blue.....:D,got clear side window to show off thermalkite fan with blue LED and red HD LED,bit OTT but hey only I get to see it.

Peltier you say? oh yes WC is old tat now...phase change is the doggies now...for a price.

Peltiers are common place but not without alot of problems, condensation and corrosion namely the worst. Hence Water is catching on in a big way. Mainly for the silence or seriously reduced noise. I did have a 45+db system, it's gone now, well most of it.

Of course the next step is a little way off mainstream but has yielded some amazing results, namely liquid nitrogen.

However I suspect this might actually be a bit more feasible:

Wow techieville here we come. I can get you some good chips if you like, my mate stavros does em with a mean kebab!! Oh and don't try his chilli sauce for cooling because even your computer will have to put the toilet paper in the fridge!!

Oops, finally rumbled me thinks. Tis true I don't have a clue about the underside of a car, but ram timings and vcores, well I stand a chance there.

It's really funny -- there are lot's of people who no absolutely nothing about cars -- yet they are prepared to risk their own lives and that of other road users by "Fixing" them themselves. But put someone in front of a computer and they freeze -- when the worst they can do is crash it(much less painfull) -- if you can wire a plug, you can build a PC -- having said all that, and I'm sure Colin will back me up here - building your own PC is not cheap, not cheap at all,but then that's like people who mod cars - it's not cheap either - but you get exactly what you want - not what some marketing type says you should have......
