I have to send my Vaio Laptop back to Sony, im guessing they will flatten the thing and it will

come back with Factory Defaults reloaded. Therefore my question is do i just reinstall the software

and plug my VCDS cable back in and it will work or do i need to contact Ross-tech and tell them.

Also before i send it back can anyone tell me if its possible to code my 55 plate TFSI VRS so that

when i get out the car and lock up it turns of the headlights if i have left them switched on by

accident. Had a few dead batteries recently from leaving my lights on as my other Blackline VRS

turns them off and its caught me out.

The license is in the cable, so it should just work right after installing the software.

The 'registration' is in the Ross-tech lead itself. Just download the latest version of VCDS and plug in the cable.
