Experience of parrot Mki9100/9200 / Motorola tk30

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Can anyone with either of these two bluetooth / music connection units comment on the sound quality when playing from iPod / USB and whether they are loud enough? From what I can see they drive the car's speakers directly by connecting via a SOT cable at the back of the head unit. I'm assuming the sound quality won't be as good as using an AUX in and going via the head unit's own amplifier, but maybe the difference isn't so great? I'd be connecting them to a Bolero head unit in a 10 plate FL Octavia.

Cheers

Rob

I've got the 9200 and unless you're a head-banging nutter, it's more than loud enough :)

lol should be fine then :)

Works and sounds a treat, though I like my music loud, with a hint of head banging so I just used it purely for incoming and outgoing calls
