Any Changes to Yeti for model year 2014

Featured Replies

Hi all I've searched the forum but can't find anything on this. My new yeti has been delayed, now told it will be built week 24/25, but the dealers say "good news" it will now be a model year 14 car. I said what does that mean and he had no idea! I'm sure it's not a facelift, but maybe other cosmetic changes, any ideas. Have ordered an L&K 140 dsg.

Will have a DAB radio.

L&K comes with DAB as standard already.

I was told my elegance with Columbus will now have DAB as part of MY14.

I dont think there are much other changes, something along the lines of aircon will have a/c instead of ac (or vice versa) and other silly things like that

I don't know whether it's only on the L&K, but mine came with the bendy thing that clips into the side of the boot to make a semi-circular storage place. I believe early Yetis had these, but my previous Elegance didn't.

My MY 13 came with a DAB Columbus.

My MY10 yeti came with nets and the plastic thing, as per Andrew's comment, my new one came with just a couple of nets. Old did not have the spare wheel new does.

MY L&K (picked up around 10 days ago) came just with 2 nets (rear one and side one) - no bendy side thing. I have a spare wheel also, so maybe that's why. Have since ordered the storage shelf net and it arrived today - glad I did as it looks like it will be very useful.

The bendy thing doesn't fit if you have a spare wheel. It could be modified though but I've never used it anyway.

Yes two nets and no shopping retainer if you have the spare with false floor. Cannot envisage they will change much if the corporate Botox update is arriving later this year.

Cheers for the replies. Mine will have the spare like my current elegance which also did not have the bottle store.

So will my Elegance come with DAB? - Delivery Aug/Sept. Also are there any new colours?

Like Denim blue, seems only available on Rapid at present.

If you've ordered columbus satnav for your elegance then it will be DAB.

Nope, sat-nav just tooooo expensive compared to Tom Tom etc.

I've just started to get used to my columbus and it is not just a capable sat nav but a good head unit too. I have been using a garmin happily (except for their crude attempts to make you sign up for and pay updates) and agree there is no comparison the Halfords option is perfectly good for not much money.

Try and get a go with a columbus it is a very good and very well integrated system much more than just a sat nav.

I had one retrofitted in my previous Octavia and a factory install in the Yeti. It is a brilliant piece of kit. I use mine every day. It will get a good work out tomorrow. Croydon to Camberwell, then to Hastings the up to Rochester before going home again.

It did struggle today though. The trees overhead in Kenley were very thick and at one point it couldn't tell me where I was. But it might have been more to do with me not checking where I was going before properly and thinking I was going somewhere else and drove there accordingly.

it's not just sat nav, it's an Ipod telephone radio and much more. and you don't get plagued with emails ever two mins from tom tom I have one in a drawer somewhere, I could use my columbus to direct me to it!
