springs

Featured Replies

which springs are best? weitec, eibach, h&r. they all seem to be a similar price range. what are you guys running and what do you think ?

thanks

I just fitted eibachs. Was between these and the h&r but having read alot of people say the h&r are very crashy and that eibachs are comfortable yet more firm than standard.

i think the h&r were 5mm lower?? but the eibachs looked more progressive? are they worth the extra £30 - £40 over h&r or weitec?

Go for coilovers mate would look good

I think you need to be honest with yourself.

Do you want looks or performance?

You can have both but it'll be very expensive. The cheapest performance option is the Eibach pro kit since it's designed to work with standard shocks, you get a 25mm drop and retain most of the road comfort. I have this kit and it's right on the edge of crashy but the handling is much improved which is all I care about, even with a 25mm drop I've already lost my front splitter on a sleeping policeman so it beats me why people would want to go even lower since the car must become seriously uncomfortable and you'd be scraping the front spoiler on everything.

+1 for the eibachs had them on my last fabia and getting them for my current one.

From what you've said I'd say go for the Eibach Pro kit.
