Hi all

I've started a project on my fabia and I'm wanting some lowering springs, rear anti roll bar and brakes I'm just wondering what everyone else is using and what you would all recommend and what to stay away from

Cheers

Whiteline rear anti roll bar

312mm brake conversion

Cheers for that mate

Big price difference between the whiteline and jabba rarb's. but the jabba one is 23mm i believe as opposed to the 20mm whiteline kit.

A 312mm brake set up is a highly recommended upgrade. If you didnt want to spend that much you could upgrade to a higher quality pad to start off with. Dont bother with drilled and grooved discs, oem discs or equivalent are more than adequate in most road going applications.

Lowerig springs id recommended either eibach or weitec springs. Had both on my fabias and tbh id buy either again. Eibachs are the slightly more expensive option, seemed less harsh but more reactive to the road surface. So i felt they offered better handling characteristics. Tires are important too dont forget. Unless its all for looks then what ive said wont matter :') aha

I've got Spax lowering springs (7 month old) for sale soon

Thanks for that Luke I have been looking at the eibach pro kit it's £182 on eBay and it seems like £156 is the cheapest I can get a whiteline arb! It's not all about getting everything cheap but if I can come in under budget I can get some new wheels on too ;) H&R springs I've heard are pretty good too! Why you getting rid of the spax mate

Damian@DPM sorted my out for my eibachs couple weeks ago. Beat the price of anywhere you can find and received it within 24hours.

I want coils bud. They came on the car when I bought it. Never been a fan of springs tbh

No worries mate :) the whiteline bars are meant to be good. Id have thought the jabba one was more track orientated, and would be best paired with a 22mm eiback front arb. Which is more money. The whiteline rear is 20mm meaning its not far from balanced compared to the 19mm vrs front. As i understand it, you want a slightly thicker rear bar on the fabia, someone correct me if im wrong

Think I will order the whiteline today al lot of people have them and really rate them so I will give it a try! Not sure what to do about brakes though so many people say get the drilled and grooved then others say not too, I guess it's just go with what I think and see how they do :D

Drilled and grooved look good. But theyre noisy and eat pads. Drilled discs, more so cheap ones, tend to develop little cracks near the holes from too much heat. Get decent pads and new oem discs and youll not be disappointed :)
