Citigo QG1 flexaible service availability

Featured Replies

I was just wondering if the Citigo is available with QG1 flexible servicing in any countries? and if so why is it not available in the UK?

Not sure about other countries but it does say in the brochure that the car comes set to a time/ distance service setting. Perhaps it is because of the perceived demographic that the car is intended for i.e. not 50,000 mile per year sales reps? Maybe if you speak to your dealer and tell them what use the car will be put to they can change it. Either that, or the vehicle doesn't have the requisite sensors to determine oil condition etc needed for a flexible service setup.

Sorry that my post doesn't answer your question but I hope it may be of some help.

Only fixed service intervals in Norway as well. The engine is not equipped with the oil level/quality sensor as far as I know. Skoda have stopped using the QG1, QG2 etc codes on the new models like the Citigo and the New Octavia III.

Not quite sure, but I believe the new codes are QI4 and QI6 ??

Personally I'd rather change my oil either every year or 10k miles. The Octavia (variable) gets serviced every year (actually oil changed twice a year).

Don't forget its designed for the city so lots of short distance work.

I followed that up using an Options Decoder and got the following Service Interval codes:

QI1 - Service Indicator 5,000 km or 1 year (fixed)

QI2 - 7,500 km " " "

QI3 - 10,000 km " " "

QI4 - 15,000 km " " "

QI5 - 20,000 km " " "

QI6 - 30,000 km or 2 years (variable)

QI7 - Service Indicator (10,000 km)

QI8 - 40,000 km or 2 years (variable)

QI9 - Fixed interval USA
