Red Fabia vRS' ?

Featured Replies

Hmmm, red looks a bit nice  . Shame the missus insisted on black (her car, she's paying, couldn't really argue otherwise  )

Does anyone know how Skoda red holds up against fading? Or will they all be a dandy shade of pink in a few years?

I've seen more red Fabia vRS around Exeter than any other colour. Guess you'll be OK as long as you don't come down here. :)

Mine is black, give or take a bunch of dead flies at the moment, plus the usual road gunk.

The worst the car looked though was when I went over the ridgeway after a day of heavy rain. Chalky junk all-over :D

Mine is red until it goes.

I test drove your car when it was at Woodheads Skoda in Blackpool!! Just saw the number plate and thought it rang a bell lol :D

That is wierd.....

Yup, thats the one. I hope you were gentle with her. I'm not! She has done 7000 miles in the last 6 weeks including 58 Ring laps.

Steve

Ring laps???!!

I was too gentle with her (unfortunately :p) Didnt want to push it with that sales guy sat right next to me ;)

Poor lad, fancy having to test drive it with the sales guy in it. I got to test drive it on my own. It was gleaming when he gave me the keys as it was the one off the shop floor. 10 min's later there was mud sprayed up the back and dirt marks all over the wheels. Also a bird crapped on the drivers window. Not bad going for ten minutes in my opinion. Loved the car though. I test drove a silver one and bought the black one. Black is best

I test drove the red, and then came back a couple weeks later and bought the same actual car I test drove :D

I hated red cars before I got my vRS, but it has grown on me, and I don't mind missing out on black anymore.

Everyone should give red a chance!

Nothing wrong with the red, although Mrs insisted on metallic. So that left black & silver only :(

Why they don't do this thing in other metallic paints I just don't know, must be a 'keep it from looking to nice' thing I suppose as black/silver are rep-mobile colours, no offence intended :D (and yes mine's black too...)

Right, now I used to love the red, but just seen a pretty neglected one in town, and looked really VERY dull and looked like it needed a polish really badly. The black looks dirty, but never like its been in the sunshine for 15 years...

Not that impressed. :thumbdwn:

Still looks the danglies when clean/polished/waxed though!

Definitely red. They are faster!

Silver for me, it shows less dirt and i am a lazy old muppet when it comes to washing it!
