just talked to my dealer telling me that my car is in production in week 24, and expects that it will be ready for me in Denmark in week 28-29.

Just can not wait

1 month delivery after buildweek? I think thats a long deliverytime after it has been built!

The dealer told me it normaly takes 3 weeks to ship the car to denmark:)

Just asked my lease car dept for an update. I ordered the car on 12 April, and assume actual order was placed soon after. Can't have it until September when my current lease expires, but they tell me its being built about now and will be at the dealers in 3-4 weeks to await my collection-some 2 months later!! Not sure whether to be happy or sad, although think this will mean I get front assist and ACC

Might have to go and visit it a few times...

That sucks, can you break in and take it cause technically that's not stealing, right?

My car is being built this week as well but ACC and Front assist is available from 1st July, sucks a bit

Might miss it then - not really a big deal as I wasn't planning on rear ending anyone and tend to stick to one speed on cruise and overtake as required. Think the dealer might think I'm a bit weird if I turn up too often though....

Make sure it's cleaned well lol ,I would be upset if a young yts / cleaner washed it after a month outside !

Or tell them not to clean it and arrange to have it professionally valeted and protected right from the very start.

...I would hope that for 2 months storage, they would at least put a cover over it, or provide a scarecrow!

Its a 4 yr lease so won't to too precious about it - just don't feel the same level when I don't own it. That said I have to sign for it as in new order, so will make sure it is

That's promising! My Octavia will also be built week 24 with expected delivery end of July (I live in Sweden), so that means it could be earlier than that....fingers crossed

A month seems pretty good. You have to be patient if you want to order a Skoda from New Zealand. Our Superb wagon was ordered in October, built in early February, took delivery end of May!

Got an update from my lease car dept today and its at the dealers apparently, but I don't get it until 23rd September.. I had a drive by but could not see it, so can only assume its in storage somewhere..
