I guess you have to weigh up cost against performance...as usual.

Thats the exact reason for the post. I'm just testing the waters based on price/performance, and to see if anyone has had one fitted and what they thought of it.....

Would have to say that if I spent 400 quid on upgrading the IC, or whatever it is, 600 for the expensive one, I'd go for the FMIC any day.

It will be more efficient, plus it will have more 'spare capacity' for future mods to the car.

I know it's a bit different for petrol & diesel but I'd had said the petrols would benefit very nicely even with a totally standard car

For the money you'd probably be better off getting water injection....Aquamist...and a bigger windscreen reservoir. I think the results would actually be better.

Or an external water spray for the SMIC....which is approx. a third of the price.

If you're planning other mods then FMIC is the way to go.
