I know this issue has been covered somewhat in other posts but I have a early build 1.2 tsi which I bought approved used from my local skoda dealer. on the paper work with the car it had a turbo recall then some miles later a turbo replacement. it's also had a timing chain recall but I've noticed occasionally on startup the engine rattles like a diesel and races for a brief second. has anyone had any recurring problems with these engines. Of course my car is out of it's original warranty and only has it's 1 yr warranty. Surely the recall should mean no further issues.

Mines a 2013 1.2, runs perfectly (as you would hope) but from day one I thought it sounded a bit "diesely" on start up - not rattly as a timing chain might sound though.
