3 beeps on start up Fabia 19 SDI 2002 Classic

Featured Replies

Hi guys.....I sometimes get 3 beeps on start up....only sometimes an when the car is usually cold.

No lights and no problems.

I read a few earlier posts that it could be a ABS ECU acting up.

I have just replaced the brake discs and car is braking really well.

Any tips please.....?

The first thing that 3 beeps on start up makes me think of is starting without your seatbelt on.

On the ABS point, the most likely (and most DIYable and cheapest to fix) issue you can get is a dirty ABS rotor. These aren't changed when you change the discs.

I thought 3 beeps was oil pressure? would explain why on cold. perhaps there is a leak on the oil seals when cold and once its up to temp its got suffcient pressure?

just a suggestion.

Our 3 beeps on start up related to coolant level/sensor & have just replaced the expansion tank to resolve, not for the first time! ;)

The only time it bleeps at me is when I start the car too fast, ie don't wait for glow plugs, and other checks. No lights displayed for me either.

BTW, as it's your first post, Hello and Welcome to the Forum. :hi:
