front brake sensors?

Featured Replies

Evening all!

Got a slightly odd question here but should there be sensors on both sides of the front brake pads or just the drivers side?

I've just bought some ebc green stuff pads and noticed that only one set has the sensor wire but I assumed both sides would have them?!

Matt.

Just on one side is correct, with the assumption that both sides will be wearing evenly. If they're wearing at vastly different rates there's a problem and there'll be more obvious indicators anyway (drag/hub heat/noise/vibration from disc warping/etc.).

Cheers for that, even my wife said why would they put them on both sides when they should wear evenly, ooh the shame lol!

Yeah... if you could just hand your man badge in at reception when you leave that'll be great.
