Oulton Park is a no brainer, it is a great circuit steeped in history, it is also well organised by MSV and it has a good selection of corners, dips and different surface types that will certainly keep you alert!

I went in the wet and had a really good day out.

The first ever trackday I did was at silverstone, and the weather was mental (propper rivers across the track in places).

It was awesome fun though as I wasn't driving my own car

I think it was about the 3rd lap I ended up going into maggots facing the right way and came out of beckets backwards at about 120mph

Was great.

So yeh I don't mind doing wet trackdays, I find it fun, but i'm not sure i'd want to do a wet trackday at a track i've never driven on again lol (well not in my own car).

Wet trackdays put a lot less wear and stress on the car.... Unless you spin off and hit the tyre wall of course lol!

Oulton park is brilliant and would love to do this day but will have to wait till nearer the time to see if I can pull a day off on the Wednesday.

Gents, could be pushy and ask what have we all decided? Oulton Park or Cadwell and on what date, I am going to get booked in and maybe start a trend, it would be great to make it a Brisky day out but if I end up alone amongst other marques I am sure I will manage to do us all proud lol

Thanks Jase, how about looking at the dates and do both circuits one after the other, we would need to check dates to see if this is possible, call it a northern road trip!

I would like to do one not fussed which just need a date to get booked in

2nd October for Cadwell or 30th October for Oulton Park unless anybody has other dates in mind?

Dates added to poll. Surprised Oulton is still £129 @ end of October compared to Cadwell @ £99! Makes Cadwell seem better value for money to me. Still voting for Oulton as never been before.

The extra fuel to get to Cadwell will be more than £29...

I won't have any trouble booking it off if a little group is formed interested in that day.

Hopefully Pete (Skud vRS) will also take part, and he'll put me up night before to ease the travel costs.

that's even further than Bedford to get home in a Getz!!

I'm in though - loved Oulton in the Ibiza it was just a bit slow; Fabia should sort that
