I'd try it and see what they offer.

Throw the fact that MSV offer 10% off for group bookings and motorsport events offered me free tuition if we booked as a group

Personally given it's open pit lane anyway and open to the general public I'd be happy for non-Skoda driving members/members mates to join us to make up the numbers and get us a discount (a la Jabo and his 370Z drivnig mate)

I won't have any trouble booking it off if a little group is formed interested in that day.

Hopefully Pete (Skud vRS) will also take part, and he'll put me up night before to ease the travel costs.

I have to agree that this would not be a Skoda only event mainly because I don't think we could get 40+ cars to attend.

To be fair you are not going to get much better than our Book Early price of £129.

We are not in the habit of inflating our prices so we can appear to give discounts. However, for 10 cars I would be prepared to provide 3 garages FOC which is the equivilant of nearly £10 off each. For 15 cars increase that to 4 Garages.

Ultimately it is what you pay and the quality of the event that counts. The price is right and by booking direct at a good price your guys a good deal and you get no hassle , which in my experience is a major plus with group bookings.

Have to say I can see their point and having garages reserved for you (baring in mind it's in October!) could be very handy.

Only commenting to remind me. When does it have to be booked by? Not sure if I can make it yet but I've always wanted to try Oulton Park.

The price is an early bid offer, I am going to book this weekend to make sure I get a place and the discount price.

Alton Towers or Oulton Park? 2 very differnet places. Although equal levels of fun

Generally Javelin increases the price as the event gets nearer or as the spaces get filled or normally the 2 combined.

From looking at the website events in a months time are still available at the "Book Early Price" so you've got a while Mart

I'd expect more people can't make a Tuesday (2nd) although chances are the weather could be better then.

I was looking at 30th October a Wednesday with Javelin.

Yeah Tuesday 2nd is the other date in October.. Or Saturday 16th November. All same price.

So which one are we booking, if we do Saturday Sharky can join us, I guess it will be busier though?
