Hello guys im Sean proud owner of a skoda fabia 1.4 comfort, really enjoying the car. Its silver and year 2000 but havent done any mods yet.

Few issues ive got is, three beeps keep on happening if I leave ignition on to long when engine is off so I'm presuming its an immobilser? And other issue is a loud rattle coming from engine by the cambelt which I'm guessing is the timing chain which may be too loose, has anyone had these problems and if so could point me in right direction would be appreciated.

I don't know about the three beeps; however, the rattle is mostly coming from the cam chain. I have seen a lot of people changing it when the car hit 120k ish miles.

Well ... You don't want the chain to jump off and let Mr. Piston close off the valves. Yet, I never heard of this happening. I just wanted to tell you the worst case scenario.
