Blackline on Skoda finance, if I clear it still get free servicing?

Featured Replies

My first service is due in a month or so.

I'm in a position to clear the finance in full, I know some others with Blacklines have already done this. But it was so early on none of them would have had a service due.

My question is, has anyone taken finance / cleared it early and had a service done for free with no issues.

Cheers peeps.

As long as you've had finance for 3months then you keep the servicing. Says so in the contract ;)

Cleared mine a week after taking it out and the free servicing still stands.

I cleared mine 13 days after getting the car, I paid £21.70 interest in total and didnt pay any finance fees. I still got the servicing no problem.

How the hell are you getting a blackline though? (assuming its brand new) I couldnt get one for love or money!

He has it already and has done enough mileage to warrant a service, hence his post.

Cheers for all the replies, and your experiences.

Already own the Blackline just didn't have the cash to buy outright at the time.

Thought I'd read the contract but never spotted the 3 months bit, as I got in in October no issues there anyway.

I emailed VAG finance before taking out the finance and they basically said that once you take out the finance you are free to pay it off whenever you like (or indeed withdraw the next day) and the servicing and £500 deposit contribution will still be honoured. Easiest (not to say quickest) £1k I have ever made. :giggle:

You didnt spot the three months bit because it isnt there, it certainly wasnt in mine.

I didnt even make one payment on it.

it is there as of2 weeks ago. They've probably added it due to people taking advantage of the system.

I bought mine in feb and cleared the next day and I have the free servicing. Don't know if conditions have now changed.
