Anyone fancy a swap?

Featured Replies

I would really like to swap my vrs interior for a skoda fabia elegance interior, has to be in good condition and a bit of cash my way, more important than anything, is the dash center console and door cards

Let me know what u got

you'll probably need later Elegance interior which was black IIRC otherwise you'll end up with something like mine (from 2003). If this was asked last year, I'd have been happy to swap but I'll be getting rid next year for a MkII so wan't to keep mine almost standard now. Good luck and I'm sure there's a few who'd be willing to exchange their interior for that from a vRS.

IMO the best interior is that from a MKII Fabia sport, although the door cards won't fit, but good luck finding one :)

Heated seats were standard on Elegance models, so you'll need to wire those in. Toasty in winter

Also consider, seats from a 9n, 9n3 Polo and MkIV Ibiza are also a straight swap.

Oh God, seriously? That's even harder to keep clean than that from a vRS. Seen a few on those on the bay.

Keeping it clean is easy, I have a wet vac haha and yeh seriously, surely someone, if anyone spots one on eBay, give us a bell

Hmmm.. I'm guessing a leather re trim would follow..

Having owned an elegance with that biscuit interior.. I'll warn ya, it really is quite yellow in the flesh, not a nice subtle cream or beige.. (I liked it, though) ;)

Won;t you need the glove box and under wheel trim pieces as well?.. Unless you're going for a kinda beige stripe up the middle.. but that wont quite work as the centre console also start the lip that goes under the steering rack.

I always liked the 05' on "cream" interior on the elegance's, but, unfortunately we never got this option in the UK.. only black from 05 on.. boooo!!

Thanks for that post rob, I appreciate the information! I was looking at how the dash is assembled earlier, and I think I may just take it apart and get them sprayed so I can choose a colour to match my interior more accurately, you would be right to assume leather.

Either Alfa Romeo tan leather interior or a tan retrim, not too sure yet
