vrs seats replaced with mk4 ibiza seats

Featured Replies

Hi guys

i'm the new guy so be gentle!!!

My standard 2004 VRS interior is starting to look a little tired now, my drivers side bolster has metal work poking through and the seat cover is wearing, I was going to get the front seats re upholstered until I heard that the mk 4 Seat Ibiza seats are a direct fit, as much as I love the standard VRS seats they are a pain to keep clean, I've just found a full black and red interior from a 2004 Ibiza sport for a good price and I recon they'll look mighty fine in my black VRS, has any one seen this done? Opinions Please

There was a guy a awhile back who fitted the interior from an Ibiza Cupra

they don't suit the Fabia interior

I'd have them in my Mk2 Elegance every day of the week

Keep me posted if any get spotted anywhere please

the red stitching looks **** with the green Skoda theme. and they've got Cupra logos on. also, the seats linked to were from an early Cupra

Hi guys

I just found these seats and just want to make sure they will fit before I bite the bullet and buy them, they are from a 2007 fabia estate, can any one confirm that they will fit straight into my 2004 fabia VRS, also can anyone give me there honest opinion on weather or not they will be a nice replacement for the standard seats in my black magic vRS, and what I should expect to pay for them? All opinions welcomed !!!!

Thems be Fabia Sport seats, ludicrously rare. Half the guys here would rip your arm off to have them, snap them up!

If I said they were going set me back £350 inc P+P would I be in the right ball park on price? Or am I being seen off?

There's no fixed price, it's whatever someone is willing to pay for them. He's asking a bit much though. Sounds like he's holding out until someone coughs up such a figure. Someone probably will. If you like them enough then go for it, you'll make the majority of it back on resale if you keep them in good nick.

Or have a look around, the Polo 9n/9n3 seats are a direct bolt-in and so are the ibizas (?)

Been looking for a few weeks and finding it hard to find anything decent, all the newer stuff have air bags in the seats so most stuff I found on bay or breakers have at least one seat with the air bag deployed!! may just bight the bullet and get em, I can always flog the standard seats to re coup some of the cash.

Go for it. It may be a wiser investment to keep your old seats in the loft, then you have something to put back in when you sell the car, otherwise you'll be forced to sell the car with the sports seats in. Problem with that is when told about sport seats most people you'll sell the car to will make this face

Provided the Sport seats are still in reasonable condition you'll have no trouble shifting them separately on here.

I was kinda hoping that new seats may make it more desirable when I sell her on, Like me most people seem to love the standard seats until they have to live with them, as for keeping the old seats it may not matter, If my missus finds out how much they are she'll probably have me buried in the car new seats and all!!!!

I contacted the seller about these last weekend to see if they were the airbag model, and he never got back to me (how many times does that happen in this day and age?)

Hi Guys guess what .

I'm still on the hunt for a new interior (seats) for the 2004 Fab VRS, A couple of nice ones have just come up at a local breakers, One from a 2007 Ibiza Gti and one from the later shape Ibiza DAB sport, both look good, I'm favoring the later model ibiza interior, I know the older 2007 interior will fit but not sure about the one from the later model, can anyone shed any light?

Cheers..

Yes it will fit :)
