I was next to a maybach on the M4 ages ago, they are massive!! Maybe the fabia look like a mini :rolleyes:

Enjoy the trip

Autobahns eh :rolleyes::D

Just bare in mind that not all autobahns are unrestricted. Those that arent have the limit posted at intervals and its usually 120 or 130KMH. Of all the autobahns I have driven on the A1 is unrestricted for more or less the whole of the 20 mile run, and I managed to hit the rev limiter in 5th on my octy which works out at around 170MPH. Its **** scary at that speed.

On unrestricted sections nearly all the traffic with the exception of lorries run at nearly 100MPH or more, so keep an eye in your rearview mirror for faster traffic. If you are rear ended on a german autobahn, its deemed to be your fault for not pulling over to let the faster car pass.

Has a narrow squeak on the A1 about 6mths ago.......... There I was bowling along in the 3.2 Gsi Vectra at about 145 m.p.h and came up to a Trabant flat out at 50 M.p.h. Thank god for the Vectra's Brakes. Mind you, if I had hit it, I probably wouldn't have noticed!

LOL! and if you'd piled into the back of him, it would have been his fault :D

Ain't German laws wonderful :thumbup:
