fabia mk2 pre post facelift lights ?

Featured Replies

Hi again guys, just a quickie really. Been looking on superskoda at the Monte Carlo look headlights and they are listed as fitting 10-12 models of the fabia. Mine fabia is a 58 plate non Monte Carlo ofc, but the units look same in shape/ size etc? Any idea if fixings may be different or something? Cheers!

Btw as you might've guessed I'm in the process of making my little 1.4 tdi a Monte lookalike any helpful tips/ suggestions appreciated!

If you got a pre-facelift Fabia then the Monte headlights are not going to fit - the shape of these headlights is different to yours (and mine) due to design changes to the bonnet bumper and side panels of the facelift Fabia. In order to make mines black I had to get myself a set of Depo headlights that are much easier to open and paint them. To see how it looks check out pics at my built thread (link below).

Thanks for the reply mate, aye i was a little unsure after my usual source of information namely google didnt return much help :p . btw checked your thread, gotta say that looks sweet mate! i bought my fabia on a budget 5.5k , 1.4tdi and unfortunately doesnt have many of the features like aircon / maxidot display or the other special pretties lol, so i will be finding other ways to improve my little furby, black roof + black headlights is first on the agenda... riiight after i change my timing belt which is soon due :)).
