Ok, so, my sales rep is a little difficult to get a hold of sometimes and he doesn't always return my calls but seeing as I have never spent as much money on anything ever as I have done on my new Octy you'd think the service would be a little better. Anyway, I am guessing that everyone who's cars were built in week 23 are all shipped at the same time so if anyone has any updates as to whether the cars are on the boat and headed for our beautiful shores, please please let me know. I am going to phone my dealer on Friday as I need to sign some bits and bobs but if anyone has any info before then I will be most grateful!

I had the same with my dealer. Phone SUK CS direct for updates. Even if you don't have the order number they can get it from your details.

Not sure what my build date was but I ordered on Easter Monday and I've been told today that my car is in the UK and should be with my dealer by the end of the week. Hope that helps.

My car was built week 22 and is still in Germany awaiting transport to Grimsby.

Hopefully not in a part of Germany 6 feet under water

I have confirmation that my car was built last Friday (my dealer have slightly better communications skills) and now is waiting for transport to Emden. My dealer promissed to keep me up to date.

However estimate time for hand over car to me is 4 weeks now. So that will be week 27.

I received this from my dealer about my Week 23 car "Your car is currently in transit to the port of exit, basically it is on a lorry about to get on the ferry over here. Delivery dates are still hard to pin down but it usually takes 2-3 weeks from this point."

Ah, so hopefully my car will be joining yours then over here? That's exciting, I will give skoda UK a call as opposed to my dealer

My car is on or on last check up is on the train from the Factory to Emden but it may well be there already waiting to be put on the boat. I shall phone my dealer on Monday or Wednesday to see where it is and also to see when I need to go in to sign everything and sort a number plate out. I AM SO EXCITEDDDDD!!!!!!!

Must be that my dealer has special concessions, or that I push him a bit harder. No seriously, I have no idea

perhaps it was just good timing on all the different types of transport.

Hate to disappoint you but 3 wks from Emden sounds about right as can sit for up to a week at each docks! :'(

My car has gone from train to sheerness in a week.

Perhaps they are putting on more transport now that a few more are coming through? I ordered on launch weekend so delivery times may have been slower due to the system gearing up and the FL Berb should be coming through now so volumes must be increasing generally?

As soon as my personalised number plate is on retention I can sort paperwork and then hope to pick it up this time next week.

Currently my Octy waiting for transport in Emden and according to salesman will arrive to Skoda's UK compound within 7 days.

After that 5 days time slot to delivery it to dealer place.

After that probably couple of days for preparing it to collection

So in total looks like approx another 2 weeks waiting...

Today I receive update from my dealer about delivery progress.

Currently my Octy waiting for transport in Emden and according to salesman will arrive to Skoda's UK compound within 7 days.

That sounds remarkably close to the exact end date of my current company car lease - 3rd July...

Also 1-5 July is my delivery date too...

Guess we're all 1-5 of Julyers then :(
