you still have the dodgy ninety degree pipe from the intercooler there!

I fitted a skint kit that was test for new 90 from turbo which will never leAk or fail/pop off ;) top pipe being one piece on order

I did a proper job on mine.

Will never pop apart again and cost me <£1 :)

No it's a screw and a blob of araldite :)

I did that soft scoop but after a smoke test it was still leaking at both ends of that plastic pipe! And at the 90bottom intercooler plus the egr,

Got any pics of the 90 degree intercooler pipe connected?

No boost leak problems or self tappers in there!

Not one standard boost pipe in my system either, many have done it. I wouldnt say the part you replaced is the main issue on the fabia system, the connector into the bottom of the intercooler is the worst.

What kind of weird cooler system is that?

What kind of weird cooler system is that?

A chargecooler - either a PWR (Aussie company not nuclear! :) ) or similar.

Needs a radiator and a pump minimum... usually a resevoir somewhere in it too. Pumps can be noisey. In theory a very good idea. Large water flow rates required for proper cooling on WOT.

More complex than yer normal intercooler setup but usually take less space and also reduces the charged air path length.

Correct and that about sums it up lol

Looks all nice any shiny that fella but whats the price differance to just a fmic set up?

In the region of £1000 possibly more, lost receipt

Pump £80-£80

Rad £100

Custom tank £100-200)

Then you have the custom pipework

And pwr cooler which i think is over £500

What are the benefits over a fmic just out of curiosity?

Less pipework (less lag and psi loss)

No massive intercooler to loose boost

Should maintain constant levels of cooling

surely the power benefit in this system is lost in powering the pump? not having a dig at it because I'd probably do this myself if I had the money but just curious. guess it depends on the pump & how powerful it is

Its just a small pump, nothing tremendous be surprised if it took more than an amp
