Michelin Pilot Sport 3

Featured Replies

Tempted to go for these next. The Bridgestone Adrenalines have served me very well though considering they are a step down from the RE050A's. Still 3mm left and gripping well even in the wet. Anyone know about them? I'm more interested in handling and grip but if they last 10k or so I'll be happy

Definitely worth a search Martyn, a few peopl (including me) running these. Am very happy so far, not put that many miles on a set but wearing well and both wet and dry grip is good. Noticeably quieter than anything Dunlop, Falken or Toyo have to offer.

About to be £50 off a set at Costco shortly - I would expect 225/45/17 to be around £390 fitted and 225/40/18 in the region of £430.

Costco? Had a quick search but can't see they sell tyres. Size would be 205/40/17

Standard on the S3. I'm happy enough with them. Good price at Camskill.

(on 18's at least) worth mentioning the rim protection as well.

Stiffer sidewalls would be better though. Don't know if they do an XL

variant. That's about all I'd change.

I have the XL's in 18 and they are amazing. They have transformed the car. My god the grip in wet and dry is unbelievable

Costco has a great tyre house, Michelin 100% iirc, good value compared to tyre houses too.

They do get a very good REVIEW

I've got PS3's on the Superb and rate them very highly indeed. Good grip in all conditions and noticeably quieter than others - as other people have already pointed out. I had Dunlops last and Eagle F1's before that and the PS3's beat both in my opinion.

bought mine of blackcircles and got them fitted at local garage, £240 for a pair including fitting for 205/45/16..
