Two weeks back into Octy ownership and i managed to break it lol.

Im 99% sure it ran out of petrol - even though it said there was 15m remaining in the tank. :wall:

After pushing it (on my own!) across a busy junction, i got a friend to take me to the petrol station to get a canister filled.. however the car still didnt want to start.. and consequently started to flatten the battery.

After a trip home to get laptop and jump leads, once the leads were connected, the bloody thing started without issue.

I suppose im just pleased it managed about 75 miles more from a tank than my MX5 does lol.

Fuel pump relay ....

Thats my guess !!

I did suspect it could be something more sinister, but the traffic was too noisy to hear if the FP was priming/running as normal.

For running out of fuel i would have expected some kind of code to be thrown.. misfire or something, but there was nowt!

Mine has never run out of fuel even though I often run it to 0 miles. I think there's something else wrong there too....

But how many miles did you get from a tank? - i was on about 320 from 99ron.

Usually 320. So who knows on that one!
