Am I the only one who looks at all areas of brisky? I don't just sit in the section related to a particular model. So when someone posts about leaving I assume they mean they're leaving.

I have seen Superb, Octavia, fabia and now Yeti usd as taxi/minicabs.

Skoda make taxis. Which means they must be reliable and last a long time.

I can live with that.

Anyhooo. Yeti's will never make it as urban taxis for the following reasons:

Access for drunks is too difficult. for both Octy's and Superbs they just have to fall in the back. Having to climb in a Yeti would risk the drunk falling backwards and the cabby loosing his fare.

The Ride is too high. Again drunks would be susceptable to throwing up in the back as the Yetaxi went round corners, so cabbies will not want one

The boot is too small. It simply wont take all the tesco carrier bags the average 'Long term' benefits claimant wants to take back home after their weekly shop that the rest of us have paid for, thereby loosing the cabby extra income.

So you're all safe... unless Skoda want to enter the commercial van market :rofl:

Looking at this, if you put the two rear windows, at the same height, from a yeti on it, it would look like a mini yeti.

no ducky, i reckon you're wrong there.

the proper roomster, yes, but i reckon the narrower windows on looby's mock up change the whole look to something more 'normal'.

its still recognisable a roomster though from the roof line and high tail lights
