Brake Pad choice on ECP website

Featured Replies

I need to change the pads on my 1.9 Tdi but when I go on the ECP site I'm confronted with loads of different Pagid brake pads that will fit my car, some with sensors attached some not. Does anyone know which ones I should get?

Thanks...Chip

What he means is use the search feature on the site, the thing on the top right hand side.

Anyway, do you know if your car is on variable servicing or the standard fixed 10k/annual one? Pad sensors are only required if you have variable servicing. If you are not sure, then you could buy the ones with sensor wire and if you don't need it, cut it off.

BTW the pads you will need will be for the 256mm discs not the 288mm discs of the vRS (which is also a 1.9 TDI).

Thanks for the replies. I did use the search feature as I usually do before submitting a post. I could not find the answer - hence the post. I know they are 256mm and I'm on fixed servicing so the info will narrow my search down.

regards....Chip
