Removing front grill

Featured Replies

I want to remove my front grill but on inspection it seems I may end up breaking some of the plastic conical shaped clips that hold it in place. Is this likely to happen or do they pop out and still work? Also I seem to remember someone saying the bottom lip in double sided sticky tape. If I rip it off how straightforward is it to reattach the grill?

Im sure I've read somewhere else in the forums that you can easily remove the grille by using a socket from a socket set. I think it was an 8mm, just slide it on and it will compress the lugs so the part will just slide off and can be re-used again.

I use the screwdriver bit holder one, think it might be 6mm, pops em, and then just the Torx in the back of the badge

Il confirm its 6mm
