Afternoon all I have just set up my new iphone 5 and i cant remember how to pair it to my BT in the car!! It seems that the car cant find the phone even though the BT is switched on on the phone and the Skoda BT is showing!!...Any idea of where i might or should i say AM going wrong?

Make sure the car is not in RSAP mode, the iphone does not support this.

With the iPhone you need to pair the phone with the other thing before you can connect it with Bluetooth. Have you tried that?

Managed to get it to work I was missing the "ok" bit back at the beginning of the setup after naming the device!!!...Only problem now is that every time i get in the car i have to go to the bluetooth settings on the phone and manually switch on the "BT-Skoda" to connect ....bit of a pain......any way around that?

It should automatically 'search' for pre-paired devices and pair accordingly. :yes:

How do you do this?

I had a Nokia Lumia and when I got a test message while driving I had the option to read it etc.

Now using an Iphone 4 I no longer have this option.

Any ideas?

Doing a factory reset of the BT module should wipe all the settings and stored data.

There are two BT protocols: RSAP and the HFP.

Your phone & BT module may be using different protocols.

Have you got an instruction manual for your HU as this should detail (briefly) the method.

Failing that, search the net for the Skoda Bluetooth user manual as it is in there.
