I don't think I qualify...

Sadly not Richard. I'm sure we can organise another track day though :)

This looks doomed! Not much interest

Shame its so far away would be a good learning curve.

Am I beyond novice now?  I do the odd one, but I guess I am now more "intermediate" - a poor one though :D

Novices should all be signing up to my Castle Combe event for a good taster!!

An excellent track I love it however I have done slightly more that three track days. Would def be interested in another type of event there Charlie.

As above. :)

Yep thought so. I'll have a look at other track days they have :) can get your own garage and discount if you get 5 people :)

Maybe the open pit lane road car only events would be more suitable. No out and out race cars buzzing around. You can pick when you wish to go out. Normally 15-20 mins in every about hour and a half is what I tend to do. And do about 4-5 sessions. Also I quit if I feel at all tired as this is when mistakes happen.

I did castle Combe in April. The brisky session was brilliant, but seeing the crashes and morons is enough to scare most novices

As Pete says, the MSV road car days are good.

No race license holders (IIRC) and only road legal cars.

So nothing too crazy.

Every track I've been to has less incidents than Combe, so I think you'll be fine Charlie.

Hardly anything goes on because they are all paying over £100, so nobody paying £20 to rag some old banger.

Just nutters in bright yellow Jap rockets! :D

At least Charlie knows I am respectful to other track users. :)

Could be a good little meet if we get a few people together.

Silverstone was good. Not really suited to the Fabia though.

Brands is definitely the place to go for a little get together IMO.

Damn side cheaper too!

Yeah definitely. Not sure when they have their next road car only event, but will be great to get a few brisky guys there :)

Just looking...

The MSV ones, now we are in peak season, are £125 for an evening (3 hours) or £239 for a day.

I don't think those kind of prices will encourage large numbers...

Hmm that's true. I still think that's ok though. Maybe wait until October. Or dare I say it, next year?

October 8th = Oulton Park

That's Cheshire right?

For me it's north of Bristol so "ooop north" - But its somewhere in Cheshire, close to Welsh border I think?

About 6 hrs or so from me then..

Yeah, its a good 4 hours for me.

I have family in Wales so may see if I can stop overnight or something :)
