Featured Replies

I no this probably been covered loads of times but I can't seem to find any measurements. I wanted to do a subtle tint on headlights and fogs on my Fabia and if any left over possible the clear parts of rear lights does anyone know of the size sheets I will need please and is there any pics of rear lights done on a black fab just so it makes my mind up lol thanks

when i did the headlights on my mk3 golf, i had 2 18x12 sheets to get them done properly and that left me with some after

expensive but quality stuff

Can you not operate a tape measure?

I have friends with skodas that use to use this forum and told me to stay away from it because of sarcastic people like you there no real need for it is there just a simple question and just get **** back It's easy to see why people don't use this forum really is. If you think I asked a silly question then all you had to do was not answer it.

I've been looking for a subtle tint and came across this stuff...it has small jokes in it and aparantly complies to mot regs. How true this is not sure.

thanks yer I seen that stuff looks ok but I think the lamin x looks a lot better

the lamin x looks a lot better

It does and it is. Fly eyes is okay for a bit of fun but

for a semi permanent job genuine lamin x is by far a better bet.

Lamin-X does not however conform to UK lighting regs hence the off-road use disclaimer in the small print on their website, so if you get stopped they are not liable.

i thought it was legal fair enough i only wanted subtle tint so it wont be too bad ive seen some where there so dark and i reckon your just asking to be pulled, does anyone have any pics of the rear lights done the clear bits on a black fab

I had a 100 x 30cm piece to do both front lights and fogs.

Also was able to tint the PRE-facelift clear bits, think you will need a larger size for the facelift lights.

Its tongue in cheek, you need a thick skin for internet forums

Surely you have even a ruler or tape measure, if you cant measure the size you need i really dont think fitting it is for you?

I had my rear clear bits done in gunsmoke and passed 2 MOTs at 2 different garages

PRE facelift lights for the win, I took my newer type ones off and replaced them with

the older style because I thought they looked better.

And YAY! 5000 posts and an extra pip B)

I had some and preferred the pre-facelift ones, I get bored quickly so now I'm running standard facelift but getting bored again so might tint these :)

So what's the difference with the lights and when did they change ?

The top is facelift and the bottom is pre facelift. The pre facelift ones are for sale too :)

Top ones are far more desirable, pre-facelift look dated

Plus if your running a private plate it gives it away as a 53/04 plate car
