but at £500 with only 2 decent tyres they are out of my price bracket

They're 18s, a no-no really. Will kill the driveability and ride.

Purple heading towards a deep, dark red metallic side of purple might work well. Nothing "violet" or light though.

Wow, seriously liking them! Nice and chunky. The bloke selling them doesn't seem to have a clue what they are though lol.

Young man near me (Chesterfield) has a Seat Arosa in grey, purple alloys, lowered a tad, and absolutely mint, a real credit to him.

Personally I think that purple is best suited to silver or grey....
