Hello i used to be a member on here but i cant access my old email account but hello all

Basically ive brought myself another skoda VRS

the car has had loads of money spent etc loads of reciepts new turbo and all that , ive found a recipet for a remap back in 2008 but its only boosting 0.9?

The recipet is from a tuning company which i rang and they said it should be boost 1.9-2.0 bar and no reason its not still on there

is it possible its been taken off or would there be another reason for this not boosting what it was remapped to?

thats what they said on there system thats what they did my car to apprently

what do they boost standard 0.9?

Around 0.7 I think remapped usually around 1-1.2 bar

So if it boosts 0.7 standard? and its boosting just under 0.9 why aint it boosting 1.2 then

You have either got a running issue / boost leak if its 100% mapped

But if they said it should run 1.9 bar them you need to worry lots about the map as that will never happen unless running a big turbo conversion !!!

Like the quote before unless they ment 20psi ? the recipet was from 2008 so would there be any sensors at fault? or anything like that ive ran vagcom and no faults

Standard k03s turbo as far as i know fmic,induction,decat exhaust system im sure the car is from a member on here because the amount of changes interior and under the bonnet with the bypass mod etc im not sure tho

20psi would be better lol

You need to smoke test it for leaks really or run some logs while driving
