Reversing camera

Featured Replies

On the home page, with the scrolling pictures, I noticed one showing an Amunsden Sat Nav unit displaying a rear parking camera display along with the distance meter on the left hand side, the next few photos showed the camera unit itself (above the number plate) and what I think is the coding needed to allow the camera to display on the Sat Nav unit.

Question is.....

How easy is this modification to install?

How do I go about 'Coding the unit' to recognise and display the camera picture?

What camera do I need to buy for this to work?

Anyone done this modification also?

I would love to have this display! and it would also keep the wife happy keeping the Audio from the proximity sensors.

Any advise is great, link below to the gallery containing the pictures!

P.S

I have tried contacting the guy but no reply :-(

It looks worse on the photo as its looking up on it. Its only 2.5cm cube and tucks up neatly in the light well.

Have a look on a Quashqui N-tec + they have a very sumiliar camera in the same place....you wont spot it if you dont know.

Im more worried about butchering my car to wire it in....
