I love chrome trims and -details on a car - inside and outside - and I am wondering how I can add more non-standard trims on my car without overdoing it.

I am probably not alone with these thoughts.

Let's show each other what we have done!

I'll start:

The chrome trim on the steering wheel is officially not possible to get on the Fabia model, but the airbag and airbag-cover from the Octavia, Superb and Roomster fits the steering wheel in the Fabia. I ordered a cover on Ebay, and I think it looks great . It should have been standard.

Haven't added any but it came with - chrome roof rails, chrome upper grille, chrome lower grille, chrome lower lower grille, chrome window surrounds, chrome on steering wheel (like you have) plus other minor bits of chrome on the interior somewhere.

(Well it's called chrome but just covered plastic in reality!!!)

I like them! All the Skoda models have very obvious details in chrome in the front of the cars, and if that was not the case, mirror covers in chrome like yours would probably look out of place. They look great in my opinion. Where did you buy them?

Yeah I know - about covered plastic - but they look like the real deal .

I didn't know you could get chrome roof rails from Skoda.

Ok. Is it the self adhesive type or is it a complete change of the existing cover?

Self adhesive caps

There's a few German eBay stores that supply rings and the like for the interior. Master of the rings or something like that. I've tried them and if you like chrome they are decent quality additions.

Lol - okay, yes they do have them for the Octavia, but since I have a Fabia I was looking for them for the Fabia. Sorry.

Yep, too bad they don't fit my Fabia 2 facelift. I guess foil could be an option. But I believe they do exist for my car - I just haven't found them yet.
