Removal of backseats?

Featured Replies

I've worked out how to remove the rear seats, apart from the middle double seat that has the middle seatbelt attached to it.

How do you remove it?

You have to lever down the catch on the outside, lift it up and out then wiggle it to the outside of the car. You wil also need to undo the 17mm bolt on the set belt anchor.

The base just flips forward then you push the two metal struts together and lift out.

Going for a bit of weight saving, see if taking them out makes the car any quicker!

wish i'd thought of that save on diesel  wander if the m8s would mind travelling in the boot.

The cars do feel a lot better with the rear seats out!! As well as being a LOT noisier!!

When my car was mostly stripped when I was doing the ICE install, it sounded like a rally car under full chat!! The noise was amazing!! But, tiring on a long journey...

CAn of tyre weld is lighter than a spare wheel and jack :D

Glove box is a fashion accessory

As is the centre console

etc etc
