Possible new alloys - opinions wanted!

Featured Replies

Possible new alloy wheels for my TDI Furby. They're 15" polished Audi rims.

They are 5.5J compared to the standard 14" Skoda alloys which are 6J (so they are 1/2 an inch thinner). Does this matter? The car doesn't feel dangerous in the corners, but this was in the dry on warm tarmac. Do the wheels look too skinny on the car?

Oh - it's getting the Eibach treatment as soon as the group buy goes through!

Looks pretty good to me.

Are you sure the std wheels are 6J wide?

These are definately thinner. Run on 175 tyres, whereas the standard alloys run on 185s. There's not much in it, by my last car had soft Dunlop Sport9000 195 tyres, was lighter and was on Spax 60mm lowering suspension. Looked a bit ghetto, but it would absolutely slaughter corners.

This is what you're car will look like dropped :D

Looks very nice, especially when you get the Eibachs on. You sure that's my old car .... looks a bit too shiny ;)
