Ha yeah but never heard a diesel sound like that! Heard the usual BOV but that doesn't sound anything like ha

There is a warbling X factor reject trapped in that engine

Done by literally having a straight pipe exhaust, no cats, no silencers and no backbox. Funnily enough i have a mate who did the same thing on his ibiza and it made that exact noise

Sent from my iPhone 4s

Yeah, but I am fairly sure its not necessarily a good noise, as in to be proud of it in performance terms. I know mine is straight through and I get no pigeon hooting on lift off of throttle. It suggests boost / air is building up on boost and trying to escape on lift-off, creating the noise.

Sounds like a bag of sh1te lol

Day

couldn't be doing with all that black smoke.

Wrong, wrong, diddly wrong wrong.

Thats the worst sound i,ve heard.

I think it sounds funny, would like it as a laugh every now and then but couldnt live with it. And the amount of smoke is mental, surely you would get pulled left right and centre for that!
