Hi all,

Arrived home from holidays after 2 and a bit weeks. Car didn't start much to my disappointment especially with this battery fitted only 6 months ago. No lights on the dash when I turned the key or nothing, dead as a dodo. Put it on charge for 10 mins and it was good to go. My question is will it be ok again now? As I know a lot of people say once they have discharged they have had it :( 5 year guarantee and everything with this battery. Bit gutted tbh lol

They're not cheap those S5s, best to make sure. Like a donut I left my iPod connector lead connected in the Polo whilst on holiday, came back to a flat battery. A quick charge remedied matters but only in the short term. Battery soon wouldn't hold any charge whatsoever.
