vRS trim fitting

Featured Replies

It was time this morning to make a start on a bit more of the vRS interior fitting. Basically removing the last of my light grey trim, and fitting black trim in its place, along with a replacement roof lining from a vRS too (thanks Southy! :D)

Started by removing some of the fittings

The roof lining didn't put up a great fight! Yucky!

Inside beginning to resemble how it looked when the whole conversion work was being done....

Discovered my alarm sensor on the roof....

and replacing the rubber seals so I have black on the inside edge, not creamy grey like before (on the right)

Off out in a bit to begin to start the refitting process. Just gave the new roof lining a bit of a clean first though. More to come.

looking good :)

Nearly done now. Just come in for a drink as it's damn warm out! :thumbup:

Just putting some trim back now, and then it's just refitting the handles and visors. :)

Well, all-in now. Just one trim I am waiting on superglue to dry which cracked when I removed it.... :D

@devonutopia

Anyway that you still have the images from this project?

Not sure. I can take pics of current setup, basically have dark lining and fittings.

Never spotted this original thread till it got bumped back up, glad that the parts out of the old Fab live on, still trying to shift the last few bits of it 2 years on haha.

 @devonutopia It was more to get an idea how to remove the seeling of the car. I broke the antennaconnector on my radio and I think that I will need to replace the antennacable running above the seeling..

You need to remove all a b and c trims, all handles and visors. And finally trim across back of the liner in the boot. :)

Then headlining just falls off. :)
