Yes, another thread about problems with a fabia vrs :(

 

Long story short, i'm loosing the whole coolant bottle in under a day, which is very anoying. Theres no mayo on the oil filler cap to suggest head gasket, no leaks around the expansion bottle, no puddles of water under the car, and no other signs of leaks.....

 

Anyone have any ideas of what I could check? Read about the radiators being prone to leaks the other day too...

The usual things to look for are rusty or anti-freeze coloured stains, starting around the thermostat, water pump and ends of main coolant hoses.

My coolant leak came from the coolant pipe seal.

 

My coolant leak came from one of the pipes going to the oil cooler.
