Hi all, i have an issue with my air con in that it ony appears to work (and then intermittantly) when the engine is up to temp and the car is moving. I nly realised this when i was stuck n traffic last week. Any help is appreciated, BTW i had the air con regassed and checked in april as i wasnt sure when it was last done and to be ready for the summer etc... Thank , Elvis.

I read in a post somewhere that if the fan which cools the condenser is not working the AC will only work when the car is moving. If its stopped then no cooling of the refrigerant.

 

Makes sense.   Check if the fans are working.
