Hello there!

Sorry if I'm being a bit dim, but are your stickers just 'stickers' or are you selling the actual centre cap etc with design attached?

I'm looking to replace worn out centre caps on my mk1 octavia vrs. Having just prised the aluminium logo away from the cap, I'm wondering whether it's possible to attach a new logo rather than whole new centre cap. They seem a rather awkward shape, concave with dome in centre. Is that a problem for attaching stickers?

Thanks for any help with this.

Hello there!

In essence yes what I'm selling is a glorified sticker.

A high quality self adhesive vinyl finished with a clear resin for a pronounced effect and hear wearing long lasting finish.

My advice for centre caps is to do exactly want you have done and take the original metal inlay off and stick my "badges" in their place.

I've done exactly that with 3 sets of wheels now and know countless others have done the same and while the caps do look a weird shape without the metal bit once my badges are stuck on they look flat again (unless you have your nose pressed up against the wheel - in which case you have bigger problems to deal with!!)

Pasty, what method of printing is used for producing the sticker?

I ask because I work for a company that manufactures inks, therefore if the print process is suitable could offer, glow in the dark, pearlescent, sparkle and flip flop inks for your cottage industry badge production    If they are digitally produced then I have nothing to offer.

Thanks for reply. I just want to confirm: prices - is the £6 for a set of 4 centre cap stickers, or each and £10 for bonnet emblem sticker? With the bonnet/ boot stickers is it just a case of sticking over the original badge or does original badge have to come out to apply sticker? My bonnet badge is rather cracked too, so not sure how well it would attach. Sorry for the questions, but not tried this before. Liking the designs by the way. Do you do bespoke design if image is sent to you?

Cheers.

Jonny, the price is each, so £16 for a set of 4 wheel caps.

I believe people have done both when it comes to sticking, either applying over the old or going on from scratch. I personally will be removing the old and using the pastyboy badges straight on as I don't see the point of it sticking out more than they already do, but this is down to personal preference. From what I gather they are very sticky so shouldn't have an issue adhering to an old badge. HTH

Normal non-Group Buy prices are £6 each for centre caps making a set of 4 = £16 and 80mm bonnet or boot badges are £10 each again making a piar £20

Those prices will come down due to the group buy though and are more like £4 and £6.50 respectively although it is all design dependant.

I've seen both full replacements and stuck over the top done.

Personally the full reomve and replace looks loads better each to their own.

I id take pictures of both options at the mega meet on Sunday so will post up some pictures later tonight.

Anything that get produced gets saved so i can do them again should need be; meaning i have a full library of designs ready to go.

However everything is produced to order so customer designs can be handled and done as necessary.

Hi PastyBoy

The 2013 new badges with the new logos...Are these the same quality and look like these:

I'm really interested in getting front and boot one... :)

Matty

In short - no.

Those are a fully formed plastic creation with chrome finished.

Mine are flat vinyl printed with a design and covered with a clear resin finish.

For half the price of the new badges from the dealer (which are a few quid cheaper than those eBay links) mine provide a "cost effective" alternative to the full OEM 2013 badge

Thanks for reply and pics. I see what you mean, badge remove and replace does look more finished off to my eyes. So, if you remove old badge, what are you attaching sticker to? Sorry for more questions, but I haven't quite grasped it yet!
