2 or 4 wheel geometry set up after lowering? advice please

Featured Replies

A couple of questions for all of you out there in briskoda land.. next week i'm lowering my 2011 fabia tsi hatch on 40ml h+r springs. one of the questions i wanna know the answer to is, after lowering it obviously i need the wheel geometry set up again but is this a 2 wheel or 4 wheel geometry because i don't think there is much adjustment in the rear of my car if any, another thing is i hear a lot of people putting in shorter drop links when they lower their cars, will this be necessary in my case? or is that only when you really slam it to the ground? waiting on some advice on both questions. cheers        p.s. would it be better to let the car settle for a while on the new springs before getting the geometry set up..??

groundhog day

groundhog day

sorry man doubled up .

dunno exactly what they did to mine, but it went away for "wheel alignment" when they fitted the eibachs on delivery..... not as big a drop as yours so no drop links, although I have heard it recommended for 40 mill drop....

lol.. just realised my post is no help at all :) someone will come along ;)

I pretty sure there's no adjustment on the rear anyway

al

I would get it all checked by someone who knows what their doing on a hunter system or similar.
