Tyre pressure sticker for VRS with 225/45R17?

Featured Replies

There are so many threads with tyre pressure info regards what people are running, but I'd simply like to know that the sticker inside the fuel filler says the recommended pressures are.

I'm finally getting back round to putting a new set of tyres on my VRS rims and popping them on my Greenline today (2 were on the wear marks when the 3rd got a puncture a while back so I put the original wheels back on for a while). I've decided to go for the Michelin Primacy 3.

Anyway, the sticker on the fuel filler on the Greenline only shows the 195/65R15 standard fitment pressures. The Octavia manual simply directs you to look at the sticker on the filler cap, and the Michelin web site doesn't appear to publish tyre pressure information these days (unless I'm not looking in the right place).

So could some kind soul please let me know what the sticker says for a 2008ish VRS with this size of tyre. Preferably both the solo and laden figures.

TIA

Our elegance with this size we run 32 all round with Michelin. That's what our sticker (2007) says.

Is the elegance 225/45R17 though? i thought it was 205/55R16.

Can confirm Octavia 1.8tsi on 225/45 R17 runs at 32 psi per the sticker inside cap. Don't see why any other model should be different unless 4 wheel drive etc or special tyres eg winters.

Cheers, Tom, much appreciated.

Alloys are at the garage now being shod. Should get them back on the car this afternoon :-)

It's the factory upgrade with sports suspension, but yes as standard they came with 16s

Ah, yes, of course.

And my 17's are now on, shod with Michelins, with 32 psi in each corner :-)
