Vrs front brakes

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

I've got a fabia vrs 2006. The front o/s brake is getting immensely hot. The n/s is just warm.

I can hear it squeaking after I've been driving maybe 20 mins.

I stripped down all the pads, calipers ect. Cleaned and re greased everything but no joy. :( caliper went in and came out just fine.

Just filled up and I'm losing about 5 mpg. An ideas? Thank you.

I have this on my n/s front luckily for me I only brought the car last week so it still under warranty they taking it in end of the week to find the problem. Sorry no help to you tho thought it would just need stripping and cleaning but if you've tried that I dunno

was the calliper free? there should be 2 sliders on the calliper were they also cleaned and greased / not seized up

Sorry. Forgot to mention them. They seemed fine. Rubber skirt fine, slide in and out smoothly.
