Fantastic Dealer Experience

Featured Replies

I would tell them that you dont want it yet.

Tell them that you have planned your holiday, and what would they do if you were abroad.

If they think that travelling back 90 miles is insignificant, then tell the salesman that he can bring the car to you in windsor as it is only a couple of hours out of his day!

Lots of dealers deliver cars, so what difference if they are out for a couple more hours, especially if you are happy to take it during the week, when most people want to pick there's up at the weekend.

Telling them to deliver it did cross my mind

But i want to have a good look at it before i take possession

and i don't think  a ibis hotel car park would be a good place to do it

also id want it delivered on a transporter to me.

I doubt they would deliver it on a transporter.

dont see any problems with checking it over in a car park. the only thing is IF there is a problem with body work, they would have to take it back.

the only other thing is, you say BY the 23rd. if you go away on the 22nd, tell them that they have to have it ready the day before, or 10 days later.

I would also suggest you call another dealer (other end of the country if you want) and ask them if the fine is true, and find out how much it is. It might just be that the sales guy wants payment of his commission in August, and not september.
