How do you remove the panel surrounding radio/sat nav & A/C controls to fit a mobile phone cradle/charger?

If you do remove the airbag light, remember to put it back on before you turn the ignition key. Otherwise it will throw up a fault on the dash that will need to be cleared by dealer or someone with VCDS.

Or Brodit do one for the A Pillar.....so its convenient for right hand use. I got one but my phone lives on top of the front ash tray lid, with a USB charger plugged in. With Columbus no need to mess with phone as all on screen or maxidot display.

That's a good solution Hozz as normal window mounts tend to block what I think is a crucial vision point in the corner of the screen, the stick onto the dash ones are better for overall vision than the screen mounts but I think yours nails it overall.

Out of interest, how are you connecting to the fuse box, is it an 12v power socket behind the panel of fuses or are you picking up a live feed nearby?

By using a fuse tap, about £2.50 on eBay.
