Leaking water?

Featured Replies

Hoping someone can help, searched for this but all I'm finding is water leaking into the car where as I have what I thinks water leaking out of the car. Maybe thinking its something to do with aircon. Added a picture of where its dripping from. Location is just underneath passenger door drivers side, where plastic sticks out. post-55588-13737426368413_thumb.jpgNoticed it today after a long drive with aircon on and then sat still for an hour or so. When moved off there was a damp patch and trail. Drove home without aircon on and seems dry now. Hoping its just condensation. Can anyone suggest anything??

sounds like aircon to me

Yeh that's all I can think it is, you recon it's just condensation?

Yep, perfectly normal.

Yep, mine has been doing the same recently too.

Hot weather.....there is gonna be lots of condensation.....mine has done the same....

It's part of any air con systems. Water/condensation has to go somewhere. It's like if you hire those portable units for offices or home, you'd have to empty a container every so often too.

Is it not the fuel cooler ?.

+1 mine also drops condensation from the same area.

I'm surprised someone hasn't suggested it's that dog just piddled under the car!!!!

Is it not the fuel cooler ?.

No, it's condensation from the A/C evaporator. Any car with A/C does this.

The fuel cooler is a small radiator device under the car that is cooled entirely by air.
