Okay so I have Weitec Coilovers and my front right shock absorber is leaking. My mechanic friend says I need a new strut, however I see that Weitec sell front shock absorbers on their website http://www.weitec-suspension.co.uk/product-list.php?vid=1128 .

However they wouldn't fit ? they don't sell struts or would the shock absorber be the strut. So confused. Help please.

Strut and shock absorber are 2 names for the same thing

The link won't fit your car as they are not coilovers they are a shock and spring combination just the same idea as standard suspension

You need the coilover unit without the spring (thats if its available)
